These discussions, whether virtually or in person, can be enlivened with a suggested refreshment. Those of course to offset the head-spinning. In Journey to 2125, notice there are multiple references to wine - and from farther north than today, as climate change affects where grapes may be best grown. The ‘Bessie’ Vodka Cocktail *
* (When not reading Journey to 2125 or Unfettered Journey, this sometimes may be called a Moscow Mule.)
Ingredients
2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce lime juice (fresh)
Ice cubes
4 ounces ginger beer
Garnish: lime wedge
Steps to Make It

- Gather the ingredients.
- Pour the vodka and lime juice into a copper mug, stainless steel mug, or Collins glass filled with ice cubes.
- Top off with the ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge.
